Description
The Indian Pale Ale, fresh from a glorious past and years of widespread approval by the general public, has declined in a run-up to pure bitterness, to “hop juice”, losing its original strong yet easy-to-drink character.
The challenge: to recover an IPA that at the same time respects the canons of the origins, but which adapts to modern tastes. This is how the new generation IPA, version 2.0, is born. A real evolutionary leap obtained once again with the search for a mix of unconventional and rather rare hops on the market.
Inviting color, in line with the classic “monk’s tunic” from which the name of this family of beers derives in part.
The scent is enriched not only by the classic citrus, but also by the variegated floral bouquet.
At the tasting, it begins with the decisive bitter note, peculiar to this style, without however indulging in astringency. There is a sequel to this prelude: in fact, the extreme roundness is revealed with renewed floral references and ends with a very slight, almost sweet note.
A completely new way to restore the required drinkability to a beer with a strong personality.
